Memory Master
The Brooks siblings are getting ready for the expedition of their lifetime but they have no idea what to include in their backpacks. Help them remember the essentials to bring with Memory Master!
Instructions:
-
Shuffle the cards and lay them face down in rows.
-
The youngest player goes first and turns proceed in a clockwise direction.
-
On their turn, a player turns over any 2 cards to reveal the images.
-
If the 2 flipped cards are a matched pair, the player keeps the cards and gets another turn.
-
If the 2 flipped cards do not match, the player turns them back face down. Their positions on the table should not change. It becomes the next player’s turn.
-
The game continues until all cards have been matched.
-
At the end of the game, the player with the most pairs wins.
Elemental Match
The Brooks siblings are now at the awe-inspiring Primordial Isles, where elemental forces co-exist. Bestow equilibrium and harmony upon their energies by uniting them either through their elemental nature or hue.
Instructions:
-
Shuffle the cards and deal 7 cards to each player. Players should hold their cards in their hands facing them.
-
Place the remaining cards face down to form a draw pile.
-
Take the top card of the draw pile to start a discard pile face up.
-
The youngest player goes first and turns proceed in a clockwise direction.
-
On their turn, the player will discard a card that matches the top card of the discard pile, either by color or element.
-
If the player does not have a matching card, they must draw a card from the draw pile until they get a card that matches and play that card.
-
If a player can play 2 cards of the same color and element consecutively (e.g. 2 red fire cards), the player shouts “Fusion!” and all other players are forced to draw 2 cards.
-
If a player plays the Elemental Harmony card, they are allowed to choose any card from the discard pile. That card is played on top of the discard pile and the game continues with the next player.
-
If the draw pile is empty, shuffle the cards in the discard pile, excluding the top card, to form a new draw pile.
-
The game continues until a player gets rid of all their cards by playing them onto the discard pile. The player with no more cards left wins.
-
Players cannot end the game with an Elemental Harmony card. If they attempt to do so, they will have to draw 2 cards and the game continues until a legitimate winner emerges.
Growing Vegetables
Here at Garden Oasis, the Brooks siblings have an important mission - to unleash the full splendor of the bounty of nature. Help the vegetables grow with sunlight, water and fertilizer. Make this oasis bloom like never before!
Instructions:
-
Shuffle the cards and deal all cards face down equally among the players.
-
Players should keep their decks of cards face down in front of them.
-
There are 2 main card types: Vegetable cards and Power-Up cards, which include sunlight, water and fertilizer.
-
Every vegetable is missing either sunlight, water or fertilizer, as indicated on the bottom left of the card.
-
The youngest player goes first and turns proceed in a clockwise direction.
-
On their turn, a player takes the top card from their deck and flips it face up onto a central pile.
-
When a Vegetable card is placed and its corresponding Power-Up card is revealed immediately after in the next card, players should shout “Grow!” and slap their hand on top of the central pile.
-
The player who shouts “Grow!” and is the first to place their hand on the central pile, takes the entire central pile, shuffles the cards and adds them to the bottom of their own deck.
-
The same player then continues by playing the top card from their deck onto the central pile.
-
If “Grow!” is wrongly called, the player must give one card from the top of their deck to each of the other players. The other players will add the card received to the bottom of their own decks.
-
The game continues until one player acquires all the cards. The player with the entire deck of cards wins.
Habitat Mosaic
The Brooks siblings have landed on a mysterious island where fascinating habitats exist. However, the animals are lost and scattered across Wildlife Havens. Help the Brooks siblings guide these misplaced creatures back to their rightful homes.
Instructions:
-
Shuffle the cards and deal 4 cards to each player. Players should hold their cards in their hands facing them.
-
Place the remaining cards face down to form a draw pile.
-
The youngest player goes first, and turns proceed in a clockwise direction. The first player draws a card from the draw pile and attempts to complete a three-card picture.
-
If the player has 3 cards to make a complete picture, they will place the complete picture in front of them, then draw 2 cards from the draw pile.
-
If none of the player’s cards allow them to complete a picture, they discard a card into the discard pile face up. The player will end their turn with 4 cards.
-
The second player then chooses to either pick up the last discarded card or draw a card from the draw pile and attempts to complete a three-card picture. The second player should also follow steps 4 and 5.
-
Every player must maintain a hand of 4 cards throughout the game.
-
At any point in the game, if a player can complete a picture with the top card of the discard pile, they can intercept and take the top card to complete the picture. Turns continue from the player who intercepted.
-
Cards in the discard pile can be shuffled and added to the draw pile face down after all cards in the draw pile have been drawn.
-
The first player to complete 3 pictures wins.
